A few day's ago while perusing the bookshelves at target I decided to pick up a copy of
"The Secret".
I've wanted to check it out for awhile and I figured with all this cold gloomy weather upon us its a perfect time for a dose of some positive thinking.
Have you read it yet? If so what did ya think?

OK - I hate this book. Sorry, but I do. Of course, I do believe it helps to think positively. However, ever since a friend told me I CAUSED my car accident and resulting disability by "putting thoughts out into the universe which made the other driver run the stop sign" (which she believed 100% as a Secret Convert) I've hated the book. But read it - and make your own decision.
oprah had so much hype about this book, i think she over exagerated a bit. the theme of this book pretty much follows the 12 step program, which i have been through.. i found more honesty and advice through the 12 step program.
isn't there a law for copycatters?
I read it. I don't think it talks about anything that we already don't know, Basically its a good reminder for people to remain positive. That is what I got out of it.
I think this book is what you make of it.
