Clear the Clutter in Your Mind

Worry a little bit every day and in a lifetime you will lose a couple of years. If something is wrong, fix it if you can. But train yourself not to worry. Worry NEVER fixes anything.

Mary Heminway

He who fears he shall suffer, already suffers what he fears.
-Montaigne

I can be such a worry wart at times, i think my mind actually searches for things to fret about.

I think these two quotes reinforce what we allready know to be true.

Don't let worries waste your time.

That is funny, because I have been clearing the clutter at home...and it seems to be freeing my BRAIN too. It works. ;0

Oh awesome post! I worry all the time. I worry about other people and their lives, I worry about work, I worry about dinner. It can be all consuming.

Thanks for the reminder to wind back a bit!

Oh I like these quotes. I too worry way too much, and I shouldn't. It's such a waste of time.

The dress I am wearing in my post is from forever21 believe it or not. But its my sister's and I haven't been able to find it anymore at the stores or online, but if you do let me know cause I need it!

Couldn't agree more. It's a tough habit to break but worrying does more harm than good. If it's out of your hands it's not worth your thoughts!

I tend to overthink everything too. I've also discovered that whatever I'm worrying about, is never as bad as I imagine. Which has taught me, over many many many years, that worrying solves absolutely nothing. In the end, it will all be fine. That's not to say I don't worry. I just choose to worry about the big things. Fretting about the little things isn't worth it.

I can be a worrywort, as well. I think the only time it works to my advantage is when it causes me to really prepare for something (like a presentation) but usually it's just causing more harm than good. Hopefully we'll all get better at not wasting time worrying :)
