spring brings hope

"Legends say that hummingbirds float free of time, carrying our hopes for love, joy and celebration. The hummingbird's delicate grace reminds us that life is rich, beauty is everywhere, every personal connection has meaning and that laughter is life's sweetest creation."

* sweet words gleaned from the back of a papyrus greeting card. Aren't they (papyrus cards) the best? The priciest, but still... the best!

I had a beautiful weekend, it was productive and fun.
I applied for a job, shopped, volunteered(!), shopped, made appointments, had a luxurious manicure, dropped in on a last minute dinner and movie date w/ my cali "family" and best of all...
I had wonderful phone conversations with loved ones, i received a beautiful card in the mail.
Life is good, there is ALWAYS a reason to c-e-l-e-b-r-a-t-e.
How was YOUR weekend?
Please tell me what made you happiest...

Christian and I slept in really late on Sunday. Considering he normally works 7 days a week...this was a real treat for both of us.

I love cards in the mail and phone conversations with loved ones.

I hope good things come from the job application!

I played housekeeper and cat entertainer. Then I listened to old cds and started a new book. I did yoga. I slept a lot, and gosh, did I need that!!

Hummingbirds are my favorite:)

Your weekend sounds lovely! I spent a lot of time sleeping and doing a whole lot of nothing. It was a blast.

The highlight of my weekend was Baby Z's b'day party. It was simple, but very fun(although he was sick:-(). Your weekend sounds awesome too! Good luck with the job hunting.
