things i love thursday

1- (almost) every night i come home from work to a super yummy dinner made by Rob. (i don't get home from work till 9:30 or later so he's in charge of dinner) :)

2- Squirrel's (my cat) nightly ritual of circling around the bed w/ her seahorse toy, making very strange meows/yelps.This must be done every night prior to cuddling up with us.

3- That im in my last semeseter of school & im pretty excited about all of my classes. I can not wait to (finally) receive my diploma. :)

4-My engagement ring, it's yellow gold w/ a pear shaped diamond; exactly what i wanted. I can't believe i haven't posted a picture of it on here yet; i will have to work on that!

5-That i had the best time @ an all day wine tasting trip with all of my girlfriends last saturday, for my friendly Melissa's bachleorette party! (no skeevy strippers for us; we have class! haha)

6- I finally started reading My Dog Tulip. Krystal @ Village made me want to read it, after posting the most hysterical video about it!

7-My future mother -in -law (yess i actually like my future M-I-L, she's super fun) & her Boyfriend are coming to visit this weekend. We have tons of fun things planned; A Yankee game, picnic & wandering around the city. I need to see all of the "sights" i've never seen (even though i've lived on long island for 26 years) before our big move!

8- Thinking about our big move & all the exciting furniture we are going to buy. Yup i'm sooooooooo excited about furniture. I'm also pretty darn excited about buying gain laundry detergent; it smells sooooooooo good!! hehe. You can think i'm weird; i don't mind :).

7- Patiently awaiting my 3 etsy purchases to arrive in the mail, well ok maybe not very patiently.(these were obviously purchased before my no spending challenge)

8- Looking foward to a habachi dinner tomorrow night for my best friendly's brithday & wearing a new dress. (notice how i conviently made a bunch of purchases right before my no spending oath!)

Building with Boyfriend

On a Saturday morning a few weeks ago, my boyfriend woke up and decided it was time to build a "fort". (no, he's not six, just silly!) With few quick knots on the bedpost and a little stick in the center for support, our fort was born.

This is Rocky, leisurely enjoying what im sure he felt was his own private cabana.

Doesn't he look like a little king? :)

My Very Own Kooky Cat

One of my crazy cats, Sammy, celebrated Cinco De Mayo by going nuts with the tablecloth on the dining room table. He may not be as talented as Maru but he cracks me up just the same :)

Kitty Capers

My cats tend to be extra crazy during the early morning hours, today was no exception. Gizmo was the leader in this morning's antics. First he led an expedition exploring under the tablecloth on the dining room table. Then he flew across the house into the living room where he proceeded to CLIMB up the brand new curtains ( my yelling did not deter him). Finally he noticed a freshly folded comforter placed down neatly on the couch, this was no place for a just washed comforter he decided. I looked on as he began the process of knocking it off the sofa and finagling ( is that a word?) himself into a cozy position.

Please ignore the ugly pattern, it is not mine ;).At present time, this is still where Gizmo and the comforter lay, smack in the middle of the living room floor.Somehow, the worse his behavior, the cuter i find him; why do you suppose this is??
